Teachers and students are hard at work at their new school in Small Sefadu.
Jay and I just returned from a quick trip to Sierra Leone. The school in Woama now has a metal roof. Pastor Philip is doing an awesome job teaching the children and using books that we took last July. The school in Koidu City has added 4 classrooms and an office. In Sewafe, Pastor Israella is in desperate need of additional classrooms. She has the land already available. New schools were started in September in the villages of Bendu and Small Sefadu. Enrollment is increasing in all of the schools. God is doing much and through additional sponsors much more can be done. Please spread the word that through people in the U.S., school conditions are improving in Kono District, Sierra Leone, but many more children and their families need your help.

God is so amazing! We pray that God will send sponsors for the children and He answers. The village of Bendu in Kono District, Sierra Leone starting building a school in faith. Representatives of World Vision saw the school on their way to another site and stopped to find out about the school. World Vision has now committed to sponsoring all of the children in the village. Thank you Almighty Father for your blessings!
Food is finally coming into the Kono District, but it is very expensive. The people need affordable food. Please continue to pray.
Food is still scarce in Kono District. Rains should end at the beginning of November and then road conditions can improve. God sustain your people during this difficult time, in Jesus Name.
The rains have made road conditions into and out of Kono District almost impossible. Food deliveries are not being made and buses are not running. Food is scarce and expensive. Bishop Konoyima took a motor bike to the city of Bo this week to get food supplies to bring back to Koidu City. The trip was very difficult. Road conditions are a major obstacle for the development of Kono District.
